Concerns: Present Continuous, hobbies
Use: buying, playing football / basketball / tennis, swimming, singing, making clothes, painting, writing, cutting, cutting out, sticking, scissors, paints, glue/glueing, etc.
Students work in pairs. Both students have two grids with the coordinates of space.
Students write the following words in the most favourable location.
Then each student asks a question to guess the word and its coordinates in a grid. The goal is to guess all of the opponent's words before he does the same.
Each student makes one question at a time. If a student calls the coordinates of a space where a word is located, his opponent says «hit» or answers – “Yes, I am.” If he misses, his opponent says «miss» or answers – “No, I’m not.”
— Are you in 3A square?
— Are you painting there?
— Are you using glue?
The one who has guessed all the words is a winner.
