​Hot Air Ballons

Hot Air Ballons are a great fun. If you do not fill the balloon with hot air, it is just a big empty bag with a basket on the bottom.

The French brothers Montgolfier demonstrated the first balloon flight on September 19, 1783. The unmanned flight lasted 10 minutes. The Montgolfier hoped that the balloons would be a means of commercial flight. But they are still used for sport, adventure and enjoyment.

Modern balloons are very different from their ancestors. They are a lot more sophisticated. You do not feel claustrophobic, they are not very noisy. Customers often choose Hot Air Balloon trips for birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations. There is no age limit for the trip. 

The only rule is that you have to be at least one metre tall.

 An ordinary flight lasts about an hour and a half. At the end of the trip, passengers are served with champagne. Champagne is traditional after balloon flights. Most people are glad to celebrate the experience. If you fancy owning your own balloon, you will need a balloon license.
