Sample Letter: Application

Dear Sir or Madam,

I have seen the announcement, that the guide is wanted, so I am writing to your tourist company to apply for this post.

Currently, I’ve become enriched with all the necessary knowledge and skills in tourism, so I am looking for a new experience and stable income.

i graduated the tourist faculty at Kiev National University with a "red diploma" and also I have been doing a part-time job in our local travel agency since the first course, so I have an experience in this sphere.

i reckon, that I am suitable for this position, because I have all appropriate qualities; for instance: I am punctual, attractive and educated. I have traveled all over the world and I know how to present all the dull information in an exiting way, but the main reason why i should be employed as Kiev tourist guide is because, i’m native citizen of this city and I know all the territory here quite well.
