59. You’ve got a letter from your English pen-friend in which he/she writes that he/she is going on a sightseeing bus tour of his/her country and asks your opinion on travelling. Write a letter to your pen-friend in which you tell him/he

  • what type of travel you prefer and why
  • what season is the best to visit your country and why
  • what places of interest you would recommend him/her to visit in your country

and why

Write a letter of at least 150 words. Start your letter in an appropriate way but do not write your own name, any dates or other personal information.

Dear Max,

I’ve just received your letter and I’m so glad you dropped me a line after such a long break. How are you doing now and what about your little sister?

It’s so exciting, that you’ve decided to visit a new place and look for adventures. But, as for me, I don’t really enjoy travelling by bus, because I find it a little bit tiring. Instead of it, I appreciate going anywhere by train with some of my friends, because these vehicles have special cozy atmosphere and there are places to sleep comfortably.

I reckon, that the most convenient season for travelling is either early autumn or late spring, because the temperature is suitable for feeling great in every time of the day, which allows to walk and discover new places whenever you want.

I know, that you have the fashion blog, so, of course, great content is needed. So I can recommend you visiting Lviv, which is full of various breathtaking sights. First of all, the main square. There you can find aesthetic historical buildings and loads of cute cafes. Another amazing place is “Tall castle”, where you can enjoy a fabulous view and make unforgettable shots. Lviv is also nice for shopping, because there is provided a huge number of malls with all the shops you like.

I think it is all for now. Let me know whether my pieces of advice were helpful for you. Have a nice trip. Hope to hear from you soon.

With love, Amanda.
